The complex “Caigatti
holiday homes” dates back to the end of the 19th century and is
named after one of the families who took up their residence in here. “Casa
Gatti” is ideally situated on the gentle hills surrounding the medieval
city-walls of the town of Montone. |
 |
|
 |
It consists of the owner’s house and five
appurtenance country houses, all enjoying a stunning view on the “Alta
Valle del Tevere”, a lovely valley stretching from Umbertide to San
Sepolcro (the well-known Tuscan town that gave birth to the famous painter
Piero della Francesca). |
|
“Caigatti” is set in parkland, in the
carefree atmosphere of the hills. Our guests will be welcomed in our cosy
country houses which have been fully restored using only salvage building
materials (walnut beams for the ceiling and original tiles for the floor)
thus mirroring the original, rural features of the past. |

 |
The quiet, carefree atmosphere makes
Caigatti the ideal place for those who long for a relaxing, family holiday
far from the frenzied pace of modern life. Our guests can enjoy both the
healthiness of the countryside and the comforts and facilities of our
structure. |
